HENDERSON-HOPKINS SCHOOL

Unlike other contract (i.e. charter) schools in Baltimore, the Henderson-Hopkins K-8 school, by design, shares the family resource center, auditorium, gymnasium, fields and playgrounds with the larger community. The spaces are used at night, weekends and the summer by community groups, churches and area non-profits.

EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

Each day children are provided with opportunities to enhance their thinking and problem-solving skills, strengthen a positive self-concept, develop their ability to relate with other children and adults, express themselves creativity, and exercise their gross and fine motor skills.

SHARED SPACES

Shared spaces at Henderson-Hopkins include the auditorium, gymnasium, Family Resource Center, the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Library, outdoor field and flex space. Anyone who would like to hold an event or program at Henderson-Hopkins can request to use space!
